The new procedures could be a preview of what U.S. casinos, which have largely shut to stop the spread of the coronavirus, will do if they reopen in the coming weeks and months. What if gamblers want to wear a mask to avoid the Corona virus, will they be allowed or do they have to have their faces clear for the facial recognition cameras?

If the dealers, etc are wearing masks, so should the gamblers be allowed.

"Some casinos in Macau offer sports betting facilities and so does Hong Kong. In addition to casinos, Macau also has horse and greyhound racing betting."

Vegas should open in early May, but we have a governor who wants to take care of all of us so I wouldn't count on anything opening in the month of May. Guy truly is in over his head. The Democratic guvs of Cal, Oregon and Wash recognize that and wouldn't even let him into their coordinated plans for re-opening.

Who wants to sit in a casino when everyone has masks on, social distancing is in place and it just generally sucks?

Most of the "opening up" isn't going to lead to much economic activity IMO

they're doing a good job of hiding any Macau sportsbooks in the Casinos I went into ... some hosts didn't even know what I was talking about.. Didn't hit all of them , got bored with the whole thing after a while

The site i linked said only some casinos there have sports betting.

Re not knowing what you're talking about, did they not understand English? I suppose they don't get many who visitors who speak English in Macau?

Vegas will not ope until Sept 1. Anyone want to take bets on this. Know one of the SUPERVISORS that works at MGM. Was told to prepare to collect unemployment until August.
